Poster Ideas

After creating our mood board of ideas for our poster we had more of an idea of the sort of poster we wanted to create. We sat down as a group and came to the conclusion that we wanted our poster to include either a portrait of our antagonist or protagonist. As we couldn't decide we drew a rough poster for each and came to the conclusion that we preferred having Lucy, our portagonist as the main focus of our poster. We felt the design we created using Lucy's portrait was more creative and we also felt that a young vulnerable looking girl on the front of our poster may seem more interesting or exciting to our audience. We also decided to create a sketch for a minimalist poster which we all thought looked really effective however when reflecting on what our trailer was about we felt our minimalist design looked like a poster for a horror movie rather than a thriller with elements of social realism.
