Poster and Tagline Mood Board
In order to initially spark ideas for our poster and tagline for our film trailer our group decided to create a mood board to get our creativity flowing. We looked at posters for other thriller films such as, Se7en and Silence of the Lambs. We found that often thriller movies use a portrait of either the protagonist or antagonist as the basis for their poster. This was soemthing that we found used in the poster for Silence of the Lambs, our group particualy liked how the butterfly covered the portagonists mouth and we usd this as inspiration for one of our sketches. The poster for Se7en uses dark colours and the title of the movie in written in red. Our film trailer uses the colour motif of red, which is why many of the sketches above incoorporate that colour. Our group all agreed on the fact that because of the strong links the colour has with our movie trailer we must use it when designing our poster.
