Colour Palette

These five colours are going to be the most iconic in our film trailer. We wanted a minimalist colour palette meaning the bright colour of red stood out. We wanted the red too stand out throughout our film trailer for three main reasons:
1, The colour red is the main colour used in the YouTube logo
2. The colour red has connotations to danger and desire, it is also a very emotionally intense colour
3. Our main shots feature the colour red in different ways (red lipstick, red lighting, red costume) 
So because of these three reasons we wanted to make sure where the colour featured it stood out which is why the rest of our colour palette is mostly tonal colours. I included a pale blue in the colour palette too as both the antagonist and the protagonist have bright blue eyes and one of our key shots is a close up of the antagonists eyes.
